Centenary of the Coronation of San José de la Montaña
From April 17, 2021 to March 19, 2022 will take place the celebration of the Centenary of the Coronation of the image of San José de la Montaña popular sanctuary Barcelona.
During this year a series of commemorative acts have been prepared wishing to serve to extend the devotion to the holy patriarch.
These include:
- April 17: Solemn Mass, presided by Cardinal Omella, at 11:00.a.m.
- April 17 and 18: Exhibition of the Authentic Crown
- October 16: Solemn Mass, presided over by auxiliary Bishop Javier, on the occasion of the feast of Blessed Petra de San José, founder of the Congregation that attends the sanctuary.
- October 16 and 17. Exhibition of the authentic Crown
- October 19 to 23: Josephine conferences , closed by the Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona, Antoni Vadell.
- From January 30 to March 13, 2022: Devotion of the Seven Sundays of St. Joseph preached by Mn. José María Turull rector of the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia
- March 19, 2022: Solemn Closing Mass
The Congregation of the Mothers of the Abandoned and St. Joseph of the Mountain, and the Association of Josephine faithful, have turned their attention so that all the acts of the centenary contribute to a more intense spiritual life of all the pilgrims who visit the sanctuary and in a deepening in the devotion and figure of St. Joseph, Universal Patron of the Church.
